The University of Minnesota is a key provider of the state's health professional workforce, training a majority of its physicians, pharmacists, dentists, public health practitioners, and veterinarians. The University is also home to one of the nation's largest Doctor of Nursing Practice programs and offers Minnesota's only PhD in nursing.
